Celebrity Heidi Fleiss and two business associates have been sued over allegations they fraudulently engineered the purchase of a Las Vegas-area pet-grooming business.

Jeffery Marvian, who has been involved in divorce proceedings with his spouse Nickol Marvian, filed suit Monday in Clark County District Court in Las Vegas against Nickol Marvian, Fleiss and former porn star Kendra Rossi.

None of the defendants could be reached for comment Wednesday.Jeffery Marvian charges that Nickol Marvian was served with a “Joint Preliminary Injunction” as part of the divorce proceedings barring her from transferring assets without court approval.

In an alleged violation of the injunction, Nickol Marvian sold the couple’s Little Buddy Bath LLC business to Fleiss and Rossi in a deal in which Nickol Marvian was hired as the firm’s manager in preparation for a potential reality show involving the business, the suit charges.

“Defendants Rossi and Fleiss knew that defendant Marvian was in the process of dissolving her marriage,” the lawsuit says, also alleging they knew Marvian was trying to hide the purchase from her husband and the divorce court.

“All defendants engaged in a conspiracy to hide the terms of the sale from plaintiff and the Family Court by executing a sales contract which paid defendant Marvian nothing,” the suit charges.

“Defendant Marvian surreptitiously received money and other enticements to sell from defendants Rossi and Fleiss related to the sale of the business,” the suit claims. Full story

More drama for “Girls Gone Wild” kingpin Joe Francis — this time, he claims three of his most trusted employees hatched a plan to have the porn king thrown in prison so they could get away with stealing millions from the GGW empire.

In a lawsuit, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, Francis says it all began in 2002, when 3 “high-level employees” from his company hatched a plan to embezzle money through a new business called “WMR Marketing” — which they created without Joe’s knowledge.

According to court documents, Francis says the men “misused their positions” to approve deals with WMR so they could funnel GGW funds to the new company.

Here’s where it gets really nasty — Francis claims his company’s former CFO/ CPA, Michael Barrett, began contacting the IRS and “falsely accusing [Joe] of criminal tax evasion, hoping that the IRS would prosecute and incarcerate Francis — thereby removing the possibility that Francis could catch the ongoing fraud and theft by Barrett and his cohorts.”

Francis was eventually indicted on a tax evasion charge in Reno, for allegedly claiming $20 million in false deductions.Now Francis is suing all three of his former employees — and WMR — for an unspecified amount of cash … we’re assuming in the millions. Full story

The adult entertainment industry found a good opportunity in Facebook’s possibilities of getting intimately close to an impressive number of subscribers, in order to communicate and market their products. Still, it appears that recent events may ban Facebook from sharing private data with third parties.

According to an Orange County Superior Court claim, Facebook uses private data for marketing and commercial purposes even though they are aware that users don’t want their personal information circulated around the web. However its terms of use allow Facebook to retain this kind of data long after it has been taken off of the site.

“Data collected from Facebook users is the key commercial asset that Facebook uses for market valuation, internal marketing purposes, and for licensing and direct sale of data to third parties,” according to the complaint, Elisha Melkonian, a photographer who claims that Facebook permitted her photos to be downloaded, copied and distributed without her permission, despite her attempts to stop that from happening.

Apart from this, according to the suit, Facebook users are “unwitting participants of Facebook tracking technologies and have had their purchases and/or other activities published to other Facebook users without their consent.” It is also stated that sexually oriented material has been shown by Facebook through social ads, which are generated by persons designated as a user’s friend. The suit also added that Facebook’s statement regarding their information selling is misleading and false, as users have no control over their personal data.

Getting back to Melkonian, she seeks damages of $750 for every unauthorized use of names or photos and wants Facebook restrained from marketing user data and from allowing downloading of copyrighted photos without the author’s permission.

It would be really interesting to follow whether discussions related to this matter will appear on Facebook itself.
