It happened again. Microsoft Bing is once more involved in a porn controversy after previously being accused of buying the keyword “pornography” for Google searches.

A different sector of online advertisements is the main concern this time. In order to display relevant ads according to the site’s content, Microsoft uses a dynamic online ad code to do just that. However something didn’t work as it should have and plenty of ads for adult content appeared on mainstream web sites such as WonderHowTo.com, a place where you normally land when you need some tips regarding home improvement and others.

And not only that these kind of ads are inappropriate for mainstream sites but their content crossed the line of being simply explicit. “This isn’t just R-rated, run-of-the-mill porn stuff,”Michael Arrington, leading tech analyst said. “This is stuff that’s still illegal in some states.”

Of course Microsoft took care of this problem at once and pulled the ads explaining that it was a bug problem most probably. “We are very cognizant of what we want the Bing brand to stand for, and this is not it,” Adam Sohn, a Microsoft representative wanted to stress out.

But these coincidences become more and more suspicious as last month, some web researchers noticed that searching for “pornography” on Google activates a contextual ad for Bing. These kind of ads are normally being paid for so speculations that Microsoft is in a virtual partnership with the adult industry quickly occurred. Microsoft denied any kind of implication or connection to these coincidences.

IESB: What made you decide to get into the adult industry?

Sunny: It just happened. I met an agent through a girl that I was going to school with, and I had no idea that it was an adult agency. And, that was it. He showed me some photos and we just shot some solo photos. We moved very, very slowly and he was really respectful. I liked it. It was fun.

IESB: Did you get comfortable on set pretty easily?

Sunny: The first time, I was very nervous and very scared. I remember one shot where the photographer wanted me to turn over and I kept saying, “No!” Finally, I did. There were about 25 people on set and there were six other girls shooting, and they were so comfortable with themselves, so I just took it in and it became natural, after that first day.

IESB: Had you ever considered mainstream modeling or acting before that?

Sunny: I tried seeing a couple of mainstream agents and people just didn’t respond well to me, in the mainstream industry. It just wasn’t the right time. I did a couple of mainstream things, but nothing major. And, Penthouse just came along and swooped me up.

IESB: Was there a point that you realized this could be a career that you could have your own company in?

Sunny: No, I had no idea. Each year changed so dramatically. Every year had new accomplishments and new surprises, for where my career went. Everything that was happening was all completely new, each year, and it still is.

IESB: What originally made you want to sign a contract with Vivid?

Sunny: I always wanted to shoot girl/girl and I felt like, if I was going to do it, I might as well go to the largest companies and see if they’d want to sign me as a contract girl. It wasn’t something that was completely out of left-field for me to ask, but it hadn’t been done in a really long time. The last girl/girl contract star with Vivid was Janine [Lindemulder]. So, I walked in and told Steve Hirsch what I wanted to do and, by the end of our conversation, he offered me a contract. It was easier than I thought it was going to be. I know it’s not easy. It was great.

IESB: What made you decide to start working with men on film?

Sunny: One of the last girl/girl movies that I made was called The Sunny Experiment and one of the scenes in there was so hot that I was like, “I think I could do that, if it was like that.” I told Vivid that, if they could accept the fact that I wanted to do it with my boyfriend, then it would be okay. A conservative pro-family group is slamming 7-Eleven for choosing to stock the November issue of Playboy, which will feature cartoon character Marge Simpson on the cover.

“Most American dads know the dangers that porn represents to young males,” American Family Association Special Projects Director Randy Sharp said in a press release. “It’s irresponsible of 7-Eleven to display porn in front of boys who pop into 7-11s for a hot dog or a Slurpee.”

The Telegraph recently reported, “Despite being on the front cover, Marge will not be totally bare, with the magazine only featuring ‘implied nudity.’”

“The move is a sign of changes to come from new CEO Scott Flanders, a former Freedom Communications Inc. CEO who was hired June 1 to succeed Christie Hefner to lead Chicago-based Playboy Enterprises Inc.,” The Chicago Sun-Times reported.

The Marge Simpson centerfold is “obviously somewhat tongue-in-cheek,” Flanders said in an interview Thursday. “It had never been done, and we thought it would be kind of hip, cool and unusual.” Source

It seems Google wants to track down any piece of information that may be relevant within a random search so they are now indexing forum posts as well. All chronicle message board activity is under Google’s web-indexing spiders attack. This means that subjects that made a lot of waves will be represented by web forum links which will appear on the first page of results.

On the company’s official blog a Google representative explained this new perspective: “We hope this feature gives you a deeper view into the relevant content available on sites throughout the web, even when that content spans multiple pages or discussions. At the same time, the main search results are diverse as always, so if you can’t pinpoint a useful comment there’s a list of relevant sites there to help.”

The search results for the message boards will appear indented right after the first three or four mains results, but even though this should be seen as helpful, Tom Leach (owner of ThatOneProgram and JayManCash) has his doubts. “We don’t want all the surfers to know everything, now do we? I’ll bet message board posts will end up pulling in higher ranking than our sites. And then this is really what we need the message board thieves that end up getting more traffic than they have already.”

But in the end, it’s all a matter of adapting to Google and not the other way around…
